MEET AURORA — OUR BEAUTIFUL 6-MONTH-OLD IRISH WOLFHOUND/SHEPHERD MIX!
This sweet girl was sitting in a shelter facing euthanasia on October 18th. SIX MONTHS OLD.
Just a baby who hadn't even had the chance to experience what life is supposed to be like.
Well, guess what, Aurora?!
YOU'RE NOT DYING IN A SHELTER. YOU'RE A FIGHTING FOR PAWS DOG NOW!
And now we're on a mission to find this beautiful little girl the family she deserves!
Aurora is approximately 6 months old, weighs around 21 pounds, and is believed to be an Irish Wolfhound/Shepherd mix. She's got those adorable oversized puppy paws, a whole lot of personality, and enough love to fill an entire house!
Here's what you need to know about this little firecracker!
LOVES PEOPLE! This girl absolutely lives for attention, affection, and belly rubs!
DOG SOCIAL! She's playful and enthusiastic with other dogs. She's still learning her manners, but she's already shown that she can listen to corrections and respect boundaries.
PLAYFUL AND GOOFY! She'll chase a toy, toss it around, roll all over it, and entertain herself like the little goofball she is.
SMART AS CAN BE! Aurora is a bright young girl who needs someone willing to continue teaching her and helping her grow.
FULL OF PUPPY ENERGY! She's going to need exercise, enrichment, patience, and a family that understands she's still just a baby!
What breaks my heart is knowing that a puppy this young was almost robbed of her entire future.
She hasn't had her first birthday. She hasn't found her favorite spot on someone's couch. She hasn't experienced years of camping trips, hikes, family adventures, or falling asleep knowing she's finally HOME.
But now she gets that chance.
That's why we do what we do at Fighting For Paws.
We step in when these dogs are running out of time, and we fight to give them the lives they deserve.
NOW WE NEED AN ADOPTER FOR AURORA!
We're looking for someone who will love her through her goofy puppy stage, continue her training, and give her the stability and commitment she deserves.
She's not going to be a perfectly behaved adult dog overnight. She's a puppy! But she has SO much potential, and we cannot wait to see the incredible dog she grows into.
Aurora survived her deadline. Now let's make sure she never has to worry about losing her home again.
