Some dogs have stories that just break your heart. Trek is one of them.
This sweet boy knows what it feels like to be forgotten. He knows what it's like to go hungry, to be starved, and to have nobody fighting for him.
And then, as if life hadn't already been hard enough, Trek found himself on a shelter's euthanasia list, running out of time.
But his story wasn't over.
Thanks to Fighting For Paws, Trek made it out alive just before his deadline. And now we're determined to give this incredible boy the life he's always deserved.
Here's what gets me about Trek...
Despite everything he's been through, he is genuinely one of the SWEETEST, FRIENDLIEST, happiest dogs I've ever met.
This boy is a total LOVE BUG! He absolutely LOVES giving kisses, curling up for snuggles, and soaking up every ounce of affection he can get. It's almost like he's trying to make up for all the love he missed out on.

• Approximately 35–40 pounds
• Incredibly sweet, affectionate, and friendly
• Professional kiss giver and snuggle enthusiast!
• Dog friendly!
• Potty trained
• Crate trained
• Rides like an absolute DREAM in the car
• Active, adventurous, and full of life!
• Scheduled to be neutered November 28th
Trek is an active boy, and we're looking for a family that can keep up with him! Someone who loves adventures, outdoor activities, and having a four-legged best friend by their side.
But don't let his energy fool you. This boy has just as much love to give as he has energy to burn. After a day of adventures, he'd be more than happy to cover you in kisses and curl up beside you.
And honestly, after everything he's survived, watching him be so happy, trusting, and full of love is something pretty special.
Trek doesn't need someone to feel sorry for him. He needs someone to choose him.
Someone who will look at this beautiful boy and see everything he has to offer instead of everything he's been through.
We've already given Trek his second chance at life. Now we need someone to give him the forever he's been waiting for.
